The Sakura Food Land Company Pvt. Ltd. located at Budhanilkantha-2 in Kathmandu has been inaugurated. The company run by Diwash Thapa, Suman Adhikari and Bijay Kumar Upreti was inaugurated by artist and businessman Saroj Khanal by cutting the ribbon. At the inauguration ceremony of the restaurant named after the Japanese national flower Sakura, actor Saroj Khanal congratulated the team and said that anything can be done whenever the youth want. He also hoped that the restaurant would create a separate identity and provide services keeping in mind the health condition of the customers.

Speaking on the occasion, veteran singer Yam Baral expressed hope that the restaurant would make a name for itself. He urged to provide different and quality service while many restaurants are operating in Kathmandu. It is the name of a Japanese national flower. We have run a company under this name. Because all Japanese food items are made here. That’s why we have named the company Sakura.” He said that Japanese dishes such as Kharage, Sushi, Tewasaki Chicken, Sashimi, Nangkocho, Ramen, Kusichaki are made in his restaurant and Nepalese dishes are also made in Japanese style. Similarly, the presence of actors Dharbendra Acharya, Sridev Bhattarai, comedian Gopal Dhakal (Chhande), senior mediaperson Rajendra Luintel, Sumit Rajak, Sonit Dhungel and beauticians Manisha GC and Deepika Thapa were present at the ceremony. The program was moderated by artist Gopal Dhakal.
