Journalist Sonitraj Dhungel has been honored in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. According to the organizing organization, Dhungel, a resident of Sarlahi, was honored for his special contribution to the education sector through communication in the program of the Global Tourism Conference. Dhungel, who has been honored with many national and international awards and honours, is also known as a successful program director.

Sadagat Tahmajova, the founder head of Tempo Trips, which is also the organizer of the conference and also a prestigious organization of Azerbaijan, honored him by wearing the certificate of honor and a shawl with the national flag of Azerbaijan. About 2 dozen personalities from Nepal participated in the conference.

In the conference, which was attended by tourism businessmen from different countries, there was also an interaction between the tourism businessmen about the impact on the tourism business and its solutions. In the said conference, there was a special discussion on the initiative to introduce Azerbaijani tourism in Nepal in the context that Azerbaijan is becoming the main destination of tourism. Speaking at the conference, the head of the organizing organization, Sadagat Tahmajova, expressed the belief that this conference will help in the development and promotion of tourism in Nepal and Azerbaijan.

He said that many Azerbaijanis do not know about Nepal, but the number of Azerbaijani tourists visiting Nepal is low, and this conference expressed the belief that the number of Azerbaijani tourists will increase in the country of Buddha Bhumi and Mount Everest. In the same way, other speakers also explained about their country’s characteristics. About 2 dozen personalities including journalists, artists, social workers, national service employees from Nepal participated.
