Young Social Worker and Politician Phurba Gaylbo Moktan (Thupten) has been honored with the Best Young Social Worker Award at a grand ceremony at Shangrila Palace in Patna, India.
The award was given to her by the famous Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon, Dr. Shikha Narula and Mrs. India Pratibha Prasad, chairman of the organizing committee.

The joint jury panel of IAS Shanshak Shekhar, MLA Rashmi Burma, GST Joint Commissioner of Patna Government Samir Parimal and organizing committee member Mrs. India Pratibha Prasad decided to award this year’s best young social worker award to Thupten, a young social worker of Nepal.

Vihar’s education and technology minister Sumit Kumar Singh was the chief guest at the grand ceremony, which was attended by famous Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon, administrators of Delhi government, administrators of Patna government, legislators and politicians.
The young politician from Sindhupalchwok is known as a social worker in Thupten district.

The meritorious work done by him during the calamity in the district is being discussed everywhere. Thupten, a young social worker who is also a businessman, has been showing activism for social work not only in the district but also throughout the country.
He has also been contributing to the construction of religious places, monasteries, temples and monasteries that are being built at the local level. He has also been assisting in the care and education of children infected with HIV AIDS, and he always takes the lead in applying ointment to the wounds of every person who is in trouble. He is active in politics as well and has been working in various positions including Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Convention Representative.

He is also the senior vice president of Nepal Tamang Ghedung Sindhupalchwok and Adivasi Janjati Federation, Sindhupalchwok. He has been doing social work in many associations.

He has been honored by various organizations for his social service and is ready to help everyone, whether it is for children who are deprived of education or those who are sick and unable to receive treatment.
Thupten, who is a member of various associations, said that he will be more active in social work by taking on more responsibilities to uphold the dignity of this award.
