Patna. Urmila Shrestha, chief executive officer of Salt Trading Corporation and president of Nepal Women’s Chamber, has been honored with the Global Star Award in Patna, India.

Dr. Shikha Narula, the head of the organizing committee, informed that Shrestha, who is also the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce, has been honored with this year’s best international woman entrepreneur award because she has raised her image as a successful woman entrepreneur in Nepal and abroad for a long time and has contributed significantly to strengthening Nepal-India relations.

The joint judging panel of IAS Shanshak Shekhar, MLA Rashmi Burma, GST Joint Commissioner of Patna Government Samir Parimal and organizing committee member Mrs. Bharat Pratibha Prasad decided to give Shrestha the best woman entrepreneur award for Nepal this year.

Bihar Education and Technology Minister Sumit Kumar Singh Chief guest over the grand ceremony at Sangrila Palace, a grand hall in Patna.

Bollywood’s famous actress Poonam Dhillon was the celebrity guest at the ceremony. Delhi government administrators, Patna government administrators and MLAs and politicians were in large attendance.
As she was unable to attend the ceremony due to his busy schedule, the award was handed over to Kathmandu. Shrestha, who has been honored by many organizations including the National Service Award, the Women’s Commission, has been doing many excellent works in the Women’s Chamber for the development of women entrepreneurs, and her efficient administrative ability, active in social services, is being discussed everywhere.
